Photography Project 52 – Week 52 – Big

Photography Project 52 – Week 52 – Big

What is Project 52? – Take one picture this week using the weekly theme to prompt your creativity.  This week the last of our themes is Big!

Wrapping it up.  Sitting down to write this post has been a bit sad as our time for this project is done.  In fact, I kept procrastinating so this is a week or so late!  Hey, it it didn’t get written, it didn’t end, right?!?  So glad to have reconnected with a friend in Heidi and made a new friend in Kesti.  There is always something to be gleaned from any project or adventure and this one is no different.  Candidly, while I absolutely love photography and everything about it, no more photography based projects for me!  It is time to let the other parts of my creative soul run wild and free, or at least be free to explore some other fun things with my available time.

Kesti and I once again went with the same feelings for out Big prompt.  It makes sense with both of us being devoted women of God who practice our faith.  This image she took is so sweet.  I love her sweet expression as she excitedly looks forward to baptism.  Girls adore special a special photo op at this exciting time in their spiritual lives.  She is choosing to be baptized and to strive towards choosing the right.

My guy was two weeks from heading out on a two year mission to serve the people of Ecuador.  What an amazing gift of time and taken to dedicate an entire two years of his life.  Everything will be different.  Language.  Culture.  Climate.  No Family.  Listening to him speak in church a couple weeks ago was great.  He is a well spoken young man who will certainly bless a lot of lives with his service.

Both of these young people certainly made big decisions and have blessed our lives with their examples and testimonies.  Love how Big my heart feels as I write this post.  Good luck in taking images this week.  We would love to see what you come up with!
