Photography Project 52 – Week 33 – Photographers Choice
What is Project 52? – Take one picture this week using the weekly theme of Your Choice to prompt your creativity.
-
Why do it? – We hope to improve our picture taking skills, become more creative & make friends in the process!
-
Weekly themes will be posted each Thursday morning. You are encouraged to share your images in the comments and on our Facebook page, or Facebook group. All skill levels are welcome as this is an opportunity to share and learn together no matter when we start out. We’ll do shout outs and favorite shares from the prior weeks assignments on Facebook and on our weekly theme articles.
The coolest thing about this week is being able to share whatever caught our eye or moved us. If this open topic were a few weeks ago, I’d have shared a nature picture. Next week it might be my car or a first day of school picture. With so many options available I think it is really cool that Kesti and I picked images that are a bit raw, about family and evoke emotions.
This is Kesti’s son as he was relaxing while she changed her camera settings. This perfect moment of thought and posture was captured when he didn’t think he’d be. Love it!!
Mine is from an early morning session with a wonderful family. I love this serious moment of love and innocence. The thing I love most about this image is not what I see, but what little Oliver will see when he looks at this image years from now. I have an image of my mother holding me in her arms as she stands in her mothers kitchen. It has always been one of my favorite pictures.
Found a copy of it! This one is quite beat up since it was adhered to the top of a desk for 20+ years.
I love this image by Richard. There is the dust kicked up so normal in the western states, the exhaust is causing a cool mirage over the power pole and I love the pale outlines of the mountains in the distance. It brings to mind one of my two favorite smells. Early in the morning, in the days just after hay has been cut, the dew on the hay makes the most amazing smell hang thickly in the air around the field. The smell is truly lovely, and I would leave early for work just to park by a field on my way in.
Please feel free to jump on board with Everyday Creative’s Project 52 anytime! We would love to see your images for this weeks prompt of Photographers Choice! Share in the comments, on our Facebook page or join our Facebook group.
