Project 52 – Week 8 – Red

Red.  Wait!  What?!  Red???  I have mixed feelings about red.  Kind of a love/hate relationship.  In general, I love the color red.  It makes me think of Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Fall (I LOVE fall).  But hello . . . BYU  BLUE!  Go Cougars.  And their rival of all rivals?  The U – red.

So let’s just be clear.  I’m a BYU girl who loves red in certain circumstances.  Just not college colors 😉

Richard’s up first this week, because LOOK AT THIS CHICKEN!  Everyone, please meet Lillian.  I need to add Lillian to the list of reasons I love red.

Kesti’s youngest must have been rejuvenated after his week off.  Check out this cute li’l buddy.  He smiles with his whole face!  Oh how I love real smiles 🙂

Here is Shannon’s take on ‘red’ which was done in the last 30 minutes all tossed together from items on hand.  The cards are the front and back of her son’s Valentine’s handouts along with the strawberries going into his lunch box tonight!

I was hoping you would be so captivated by those three amazing photos, that you wouldn’t scroll any further.  Because I tried a still life.  And that’s exactly what it is.  Still (meaning a tad boring).  Not quite as captivating as it was in my mind.  An area for serious improvement for me over time, I hope.
