Photography Project 52 – Week 19 – Curved Lines

What is Project 52? – Take one picture this week using the weekly theme of Curved Lines to prompt your creativity.

•  Why do it? – We hope to improve our picture taking skills, become more creative & make friends in the process! 

•  Weekly themes will be posted each Thursday morning.  You are encouraged to share your images in the comments and on our Facebook page, or Facebook group.  All skill levels are welcome as this is an opportunity to share and learn together no matter when we start out.  We’ll do shout outs and favorite shares from the prior weeks assignments on Facebook and on our weekly theme articles.

I’m so glad Kesti chose this prompt!  I’ve made many interesting discoveries with this project.  Several prompts that I thought would be fairly easy were tougher than I thought.  Others – like this week – were quite the opposite.  I was worried about finding curved lines, but when I really started looking I spotted them any and every where!  Here’s the evidence.

My intention wasn’t curved lines when I snapped this.  I was just checking out a new lens.  It wasn’t until I pulled pictures off the camera, that I noticed them here.

 

Kesti found some pretty drastically curved lines at her tulip festival last week.  I love that there are so many – green grass, purple flowers, stones, water and then some!

Richard hit the jackpot of curves with this laughing goat.  They are everywhere.  I can’t look at this without smiling.  I really want to reach out and pet this goat!

And there are just too many things to love about Shannon’s picture this week!  I love the curved lines of the slide leading the eye right to her son , the lighting, the static and I absolutely adore the red – particularly that pop of red on his shoes.
