Photography Project 52 – Week 15 – Metal

• What is Project 52? – Take one picture this week using the weekly theme to prompt your creativity.

•  Why do it? – We hope to improve our picture taking skills, become more creative & make friends in the process!

Where will YOU go to for your picture this week?  Since our prompt is metal, I went straight to our wood shop.  Where else would I go??  It takes a lot of metal tools to cut and shape all these wood projects.  This old school hand plane was my favorite.

 

 

Kesti headed to the ball field.  With three boys, she spends a lot of time on that field!  The bat and the fence fulfill the metal prompt, but it is the perspective that I adore in these two shots.  For some reason, this top one with all the moodiness and anticipation of action really just captures my attention.

 

 

Richard has seemingly endless photo opportunities.  I absolutely LOVE this picture.  The plow is so cool, but I cannot get over the gorgeous view in the background.  Stunning!

 

 

Shannon saw this siding with the bolts and fell in love with the warm glow of afternoon sunlight in this shade between two buildings that reminded her of fall.  Metal can often have such a cold or industrial look and this just oozes warmth.
