Win a seat in our Beginner Photography Class

Join our fabulous 4 week adventure to learning how to use your DSLR camera!  No more trying to capture great moments only to be disappointed by your images.  This photography journey starts off with getting you comfortable using your camera in priority modes as each element of getting a great exposure and mood are introduced.  By the end of the course you will be comfortable using your priority modes and using your camera controlling everything in manual!  BONUS: You continue to have access to the class materials when the class ends, and you are invited to a private Facebook group to connect and grow with your fellow class mates.  We want you to really learn your camera, which is why the class is structured with written instruction, illustrations, images and videos.  Shannon will conduct a Q&A each week on the website along with moderating the Facebook group where you are welcome to share your images and ask questions!  We also have some fabulous alumni who will help answer questions on the Facebook group.

You will learn:

  • Finding and seeing the light

  • Creative ways to capture images

  • How to use your camera in priority and manual modes

  • Elements of exposure and how to use them to your benefit

  • On camera flash basics

  • Focus
