Everyday Creative’s Project 52 – Week 32

Photography Project 52 – Week 32 – Green

What is Project 52? – Take one picture this week using the weekly theme of Green to prompt your creativity.

  •  Why do it? – We hope to improve our picture taking skills, become more creative & make friends in the process!

  •  Weekly themes will be posted each Thursday morning.  You are encouraged to share your images in the comments and on our Facebook page, or Facebook group.  All skill levels are welcome as this is an opportunity to share and learn together no matter when we start out.  We’ll do shout outs and favorite shares from the prior weeks assignments on Facebook and on our weekly theme articles.

Commentary from Kesti!
Green.  My favorite color.  I kept my eyes peeled this past week for anything green that jumped out at me. Like any good boy scout, I was prepared by bringing my camera everywhere…just in case.  As I was driving my son to his Kuncio Orthodontics appointment, I passed an old train station with green doors.  Uuurrrrch.  Perfect!  I sweetly asked my son if he’d be in a few pictures.  THIS was his reaction to my request.  By his dramatic body language and pained expressions, you’d think I asked him to give away his beloved dog or something.  The emotions were REAL, people!

My dad’s picture is full of green!  I love the close-up details of the dandelion. Aren’t you just itching to blow it? EC-Richard-Prog52-wk32-green

Shannon’s image is of her garden’s harvest today.  She makes fresh salsa 2-3 times a week and planted her salsa garden specifically for this reason. She’s a genius! And I want to live with her.  Fresh salsa is one of my favorite things and the reason tomatoes were invented, I am quite sure.

Shannon commenting again…   I must butt in for the rest of the post.  Uhmmm, the garden harvest was awesome, but my sweet husband put everything away before I got a chance to photograph it!  Then this morning I mixed up the prompt and photographed the tomatoes instead of all the spicy peppers and cucumbers.  lol

Luckily, I grabbed this cute picture over the weekend of Blake in ‘jail’ after he accidentally knocked down the domino & jenga pieces his sister and brother were setting up to knock down.  He was so good natured about being put in jail and happened to be sitting right by a Green dresser.  Awesome!  So excited to have another image that actually fits our prompt this week.

Good luck on your green images this week!
