I started to do a post on great easter crafts, but the fact is- I’m just not that crafty. I don’t LOVE dyeing easter eggs, and making pompom bunnies…but I love to eat!
So here are 5 cute “crafts” you can make with your kids this weekend to celebrate Easter!
1. Nutter Butter Easter Chicks– We love chicks, and I adore NutterButters!
2 Resurrection Rolls – I saw several recipes for these, but love that these have cinnamon in them! I think we are going to make these Sunday Morning. I also particularly love how this recipe helps children focus on the resurrection, which is really the whole point, right?
3. Crackle Eggs – My oldest is almost 12 *GASP* so I need something a little cooler to impress him when it comes to egg dyeing- and I think this will do the trick!
4. Hatching Chicks from Deviled Eggs – My kids ADORE deviled eggs. These seem like a great way that they can make something cute and enjoy eating it too!
5. Sweet Bird’s Nests– I love Chow Mein Noodles… we used to sneak and eat them when my Mom wasn’t looking (sorry Mom) I love this fun spin on using chow mein noodles instead of rice krispies to make this cute nest.
Well there you go! My Favorite 5 Easter Crafts…you can EAT! Hope you enjoy making some of these with your kids! If you do, be sure to post a photo to our Facebook page and share!
